Youth Mission Trip

Yorkminster and Kirkwood youth and their leaders are combining Bible study and some fun with their hurricane relief efforts in western North Carolina. The group is helping with renovations at the nonprofit Thermal Hugs. They have also given away fresh produce from the Jenny Russell Giving Garden along with fans, sunscreen, bug spray, disinfectant and formula.

YG Mission Trip Day 3: Long HOT Day of work at Thermal Hugs! Fun card games followed by a wonderful dinner with former Yorkminster Pastor Feild Russell! It only takes a spark to get a fire going! Shout out to Michelle Sansbury Jenks for the cooling vests!!

YG Mission Trip Last Day: after four days we present a completely cleaned out carport and two extremely organized storage containers at Thermal Hugs prepared to help the surrounding community! Wrapped up the trip with a Glow Twilight Ropes Course! So proud of this team!
