New bluebird babies

The Rev Dr Mark Mason Bluebird Trail at Yorkminster Presbyterian Church has a set of persistent Bluebird parents who made a new home in Box 6 late in the season. Mom laid four eggs that were observed by our team on 7/27. Hatch day occurred on 8/3 noted by Fred and Terry Simpkins. Most recently, on 8/10, three healthy, maturing nestlings were documented occupying Box 6. 

Mom and Dad will have a couple more weeks of feeding and protecting their new nestlings. After these babies fledge, our season should be winding down.
