Guatemala Mission Team Tuesday

Tuesday was another amazing day for our mission team in Guatemala. They began with Bible study with the CEDEPCA staff and nearly 30 members of Yorkminster, who zoomed in from Virginia. After a quick coffee break, they learned about the various ministries CEDEPCA is involved with around Guatemala, enjoyed lunch with the staff and then headed across town for an absolutely magical time with the children and leaders of an after school program hosted by Iglesia Jesus es El Camino, Jesus is The Way Church. The team was overwhelmed by the love and joy the children extended from the moment they stepped off the bus (including multiple signs, handmade for each member of the team) to the moment they hugged everyone goodbye hours later. No doubt it brought a smile to Jesus’ face! “Hasta la Proxima” is a Spanish phrase meaning, “Until the next time.” So, ”Hasta la Proxima, our new friends. God’s grace be upon you.”
