When I checked Box #1 on Sunday, August 9, this beautiful young Bluebird was the only one of the four left in the nest. I went back today and sure enough Number four had courageously fledged. Our birding season has ended for 2026. I may relocate 1 or 2 boxes before next spring. Anyone interested in joining our birding team please let me know. Once again a surprise awaited Phoebe Radcliffe and Deena Obrokta in Box #1 of the Bluebirds Trail. Expecting to find 4 eggs, we instead observed four 1-day-old hatchlings!
